
Rory's 1993.5 Lotus Esprit

Originally purchased from the local Vancouver Lotus dealer in May 1994. The car was manufactured in May 1993. The car now has about 43,000kms. I purchased it in Nanaimo, BC. in 100% Factory Original condition with no modifications. Serial Number SCCFC20BXPHF60295. I have since changed the wheels and tires to the S4 17" OZ Wheels with appropriate tires due to no availability of the correct specification tires for the original 15" front wheels.
Here are some updated pictures with a new steering wheel as my old one had non-working horn buttons that were broken and I replaced the old rear license plate surround with the updated one as the old one was faded badly. Not great quality pictures but will do for now.

BODY:
Styled by the Lotus Design studio, the body shell is manufactured by the Vacuum
Assisted Resin Injection process and includes Kevlar reinforcement of the roof
structure. Removable fiberglass sunroof. Front and rear bumpers manufactured
from RRIM offering protection against minor impact damage.
A front rubber lip spoiler to protect the
underside of the front valance.
Aerodynamic rear wing mounted
on tailgate. Engine air intake located behind the rear right-hand quarter light
complemented by further ducting in the lower body sills for cooling. Warm air
exits via cooling slats above engine bay.
CHASSIS:
Galvanized steel backbone, guaranteed against corrosion for eight years.
FRONT SUSPENSION:
Upper and lower wishbones with anti-roll bar. Coil springs co-axial with
telescopic gas pressurized shock absorbers.
REAR SUSPENSION:
Upper and lower transverse links with box section trailing radius arms. Coil
springs co-axial with telescopic pressurized gas shock absorbers. Aluminium hub
camers.
